TAPE V71 DISC0 SPOTS · 0 WATCHABLE
Donated by Tim Nelson, Shorewood, IL
Disc A · c. 1991-96
Second recorder; the only disc of tape V7. About 20 minutes of one syndicated rerun of The Andy Griffith Show, 'Cyrano Andy' (season 1, 1961: Barney is too shy to court Thelma Lou; Ellie Walker), recorded with every commercial break paused out. The tape starts mid-episode (Thelma Lou's party) and stops before the tag and credits at 0:20:07; the rest of the disc is blank. Pause splices at 0:05:29, 0:09:05 and 0:16:43. No station bug, ID or promo, so the channel is unknown; a 2-second KFC fragment leaked in at the 0:09:05 splice (1991–97 striped KFC logo) dates the recording to the early-to-mid 1990s. Tracking is clean.
No uploads: the only ad footage is the 2-second KFC fragment.
