Disc A Disc B Disc C

Disc A · Apr 9 1990

Original recorder; first disc of tape 33. Three recordings from April 1990, with the commercial breaks paused out at the time of taping in the first two:

1. The second half of the Twin Peaks pilot, the ABC Sunday Night Movie, Sunday, April 8, 1990 (the premiere; the caption channel's listing service carries the date). All breaks paused out; one 'ABC Sunday Night Movie' return bumper survives.

2. Star Trek: The Next Generation — "Allegiance" on WPWR-TV 50 (Gary–Chicago), recorded over the end of the Twin Peaks credits a day or so later. Breaks paused out.

3. WGN-TV Channel 9, Monday, April 9, 1990: the half-hour special "Days of Glory, Decades of Passion: The White Sox" (narrated by Jim Durham), then White Sox baseball — the home opener against the Milwaukee Brewers, the last Opening Day at the original Comiskey Park: Chuck Comiskey's ceremonial first pitch, the rain delay, and the top of the 1st (Melido Perez retires Sheffield, Surhoff and Yount). The disc ends three seconds into a True Value spot in the first break.

Tracking is clean.
